Ken and Ann Bratney Family
November 1962
Bratney Companies was founded in 1964 when Ken Bratney and his wife, Ann, packed their five children, two dogs, and all their worldly goods in two cars and departed Portland, Oregon, for Des Moines, Iowa.
Ken had a vision to achieve success by selling seed and grain handling equipment throughout Iowa and Missouri made possible through his dedication to integrity, diligence, and customer satisfaction.
