NATURE OF WORK
The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for providing administrative support to the organization. The core tasks include answering the main phone line and transferring calls, greeting visitors and notifying appropriate personnel, ordering office supplies, and other routine administrative tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer multi-line phone system and transfer calls
- Greet visitors and notify appropriate personnel
- Assist in the planning and execution of office related events (ordering lunches, annual holiday party, etc.)
- Assist with travel arrangements upon request
- Order and stock general office supplies
- Order company gifts as needed
- Clean coffee carafes, refrigerators, and maintain dishwasher as needed
- Maintain order of mail room, sort incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, stock mailroom printer, fax machine, maintain postage meter
- Reconcile expense reports
- Reserve conference rooms
- Manage corporate sporting events ticket distribution
- Miscellaneous duties as determined
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES / SKILLS
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to learn how to use web based phone system
- Experience in the Ag Industry or farm background a plus.
EDUCATION
- Prior experience in an administrative or sales support role
- Associate Degree or greater is preferred but not required.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
