Job Details
The Inside Sales Specialist will provide sales support for Bratney’s equipment division and various related services. This is a sales support position; providing assistance to Sales Managers, equipment teams, and customers who operate processing facilities primarily in the grain, feed, seed, nut, food, and specialty commodity industries. This role ensures a seamless experience for both internal and external customers by providing professional, timely, and accurate communication related to Cimbria after-sales support.
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Enter equipment, spare parts, and screen orders into ERP software (Great Plains).
- Prepare and issue equipment order confirmations.
- Develop equipment and parts quotations.
- Maintain an adequate supply of Cimbria marketing and product literature.
- Complete quality control checklists for outbound shipments.
- Respond to incoming calls related to parts and equipment inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team members as needed.
- Support freight logistics for both inbound and outbound equipment shipments.
- Assist with travel arrangements when required.
- Provide support across various company functions as needed.
- Assist with preparation of international shipping documentation.
- Support the maintenance of price books.
- Be flexible when necessary; willing to assist Operations, Billing, Service, Logistics, and Administrative teams when needs arise.
- Maintain a focus on quality customer service to preserve and strengthen customer relationships.
- May answer main Bratney phone line and direct calls to appropriate parties.
- May code timecards, assist with inventory, make travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.

Education / Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative, accounting, service, or sales support role is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of basic computer software and web/mobile applications to accomplish daily tasks.
- College degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in the seed, grain, or food industry, or other agriculture-related experience is preferred but not required.
Other Requirements
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and random pool.
- Background screening including previous employment, education, and criminal history.
- Occasionally required to climb up/down ladders.
- Occasionally required to lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
